Meet our Leadership

John, a native of Indiana, moved to North Carolina when he began attending Southeastern Free Will Baptist College in Wendell, NC. It was there that he met his beautiful wife, Allison. They married shortly after graduating in 2009 and entered the ministry field together working as Student Pastors for Immanuel Free Will Baptist in Winterville, NC.  In 2017, John was approached about becoming lead minister for Maranatha and after talking with Allison and much prayer, they leaped.  John also serves as a counselor to parishioners and community members, utilizing his master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Allison currently serves full-time at home where she homeschools their four children (Macie, Marshall, Maddie, and MaKenna), leads the Children’s and Ladies Ministries, and plays keyboard for the Worship Team.
